My daughter started at MMTS last year when she was 4. It’s been only 6 months, but I am already noticing so many good changes in her not only academically but personality-wise too. She is much more confidant now and so well motivated to do all the things on her own. I wish I knew Ms. Mitra sooner. Another big difference for me personally is, my daughter is finishing her lunch every single day (my daughter is really a picky eater). She takes extra effort for these things which most of the teachers in any school just don’t bother about. She really focuses on each and every child so well. We have our peace of mind which I never had before in any school. All the kids in her care looks so happy. In short, my daughter and my family loves Ms. Mitra so much.

We cannot thank Ms. Mitra enough for all she has done for our children. She laid the foundation for their success which has greatly helped them succeed in elementary school. They both consistently top their classes in reading, writing and mathematics. How many parents can boost about this honor?

Ms. Mitra has a knack of bonding with students on a level even parents cannot. I will never forget my elder daughter’s 2nd day of school. Like most children, she was scared and didn’t want me to leave. Ms. Mitra came to the door and whispered my daughters name – my little one looked up, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as she recognized her teacher’s voice. She ran to Ms. Mitra never once turning around to say goodbye to me. I went to take a peak at them before I left and saw my little one happily helping Ms. Mitra prepare for the day. I knew right then and there that we had made the right decision.

Ms. Mitra is patient, loving, and dedicated. She wants her children to succeed and is willing to go above and beyond what a normal public or private school teacher would – i know from experience.

Needless to say, the relationship built between my family and her is priceless. We look forward to keeping in close contact with her as the children get older. She will always be a huge part of their achievements as she is the one that built and shaped them into the amazing children they are today. We love you Ms. Mitra!

As a family with 4 children, many teachers enter our lives. But only one teacher has stood out and left a significant impact… and that’s Ms. Mitra. Three of my children were very fortunate to have her as their teacher. Not only did she instill a strong foundation for learning in each of them, but she loved my children as her own. Ms. Mitra’s passion for teaching is unparalleled, and the amount of love and care she pours into her school makes her the best. She isn’t just shaping minds, she’s creating good, kind-hearted human beings. We adore Ms. Mitra!!

Both of our boys were Ms. Mitra’s students for 3 years and they both loved going to school and adored her. We can’t say enough great things about Ms. Mitra! It’s the little things that she goes above and beyond in doing that makes it so special. She is very warm, professional and truly cares about the children. It’s this loving environment and the right amount of discipline that makes MMTS one of the best.
Both boys left Ms. Mitra’s program exceptionally prepared for 1st grade, setting the stage for solid elementary years.

To start, my twins attended Mitra Montessori for the last 1.5 years. They started with being part of Pre-K and Kindergarten now. I cannot image my twins growing up anywhere else. We were drawn to Montessori for its evidence-based approach to childhood development, and MMTS school stays true to that mission. The children are loved and supported to grow, take responsibility, express their thoughts and feelings through journals and art, be independent, be outside as much as possible, learn about nature, the big world, to share, and be respectful. I am so happy with my choice and thought I would share some of the unexpected benefits:
Parent education and communication: They give you a step by step information on their methodology. Communication between parents and  teacher is excellent. We have quarterly PTM’s where they go over detailed evaluation of their progress. We also receive “Report Cards” and day to day update on their participations and achievements. Ms.Mitra is very good at understanding the EQ of her students it’s a real blessing.
Spring concert and other events at MMTS: We look forward for all school event as each student participates and has a lot of fun. It takes immense about of dedication and perseverance which resulted into successful concerts each year. The school celebrates all important US holidays and other cultural events giving the kids understanding of different culture and knowledge. I have been very pleased with the level of diversity in the school.
Group projects/activities: Unique about MMTs that does not happen at other places, like cooking. My kids love to be part of the cooking days. There is no boring sterility here – There are colors and maps, blocks and even the food they cook during the events are color coordinated.

Our twins are blossoming into a wonderful little boys in large part due to the education and experience they get at Mitra Montessori. MMTS truly Rocks!
Ms Mitra has been a part of our lives for years now, as we started with her when my twins were 3.5 years of age. She is not only an incredible person and an amazingly committed individual who truly cares about each individual child and their learning methods. She’s funny and sincere and oh so patient. We’ve become great friends over the years and I love coming to school and helping out in class or having a quick chat and good laugh. Ms Mitra has been a great contributors to our twin boys love of learning and we look forward to keep our connection beyond MMTS.

I have known Ms Mitra as a Montessori Educator for 7 years now . We met her when my oldest daughter started in her class at three and a half years old and now our second daughter is doing kindergarten with her .

Ms. Mitra has been the most amazing teacher to our daughters. Her love and personal attention to every kid in her class is inspiring. She truly goes above and beyond for her kids. I have met several great teachers over the years but Ms Mitra is in a league of her own. She focuses on every aspect of her students development , be it academic , social or emotional , for an all round development of their personality . Our daughter looks forward to going to school to “Ms Mitra” every morning . Every holiday is celebrated in the class with such attention to detail . Ms Mitra always puts her kids first and is always full of smiles and love and warmth in her class room . Her energy is truly contagious. Even the parents of the kids in her class become part of her Montessori family , thanks to her full of life and loving personality. We truly feel blessed to have had our kids be part of her classrooms in their crucial early development years . She has not only given them a strong foundation of reading and early math skills to start school strong but given them the confidence and social skills which will be the strong base for them for the years to come. It is no surprise that all of her students and their parents stay in touch with her for years to come. To kids and parents alike , she is always the amazing Ms Mitra !

Our four-year-old son has attended Ms. Mitra’s Montessori for the past year, and we could not be happier with our decision.

We strongly believe in the Montessori method and always wanted to send our son to a Montessori program. But we never thought that we would find such an AMAZING environment so close to our home!
Ms. Mitra has unconditional love, a kind heart, abundance of patience and creativity while ensuring a safe educational environment that has allowed our son to thrive and blossom.
We have seen our 4-year-old transform into a polite, patient, smart, independent boy while he is continuously learning how to read, write, put words together to make full sentences and his favorite ‘numbers’.
Ms. Mitra is a fantastic teacher and has a well-rounded curriculum that focuses not only on education but also on inculcating an empathetic value system with all her students. In addition, Ms. Mitra organizes various educational field trips and holiday celebrations throughout the year that the kids always look forward to!
We feel extremely lucky and blessed to have our son go to Ms. Mitra’s Montessori school (MMTS) and highly recommend the school to anyone looking for a safe, secure, academic focused environment.

It was an unbelievable experience having Mrs. Mitra as my son and daughter’s Teacher from Preschool all the way through Kindergarten. Mrs. Mitra is the heart and soul of Mrs. Mitra’s Montessori Tutoring school. She is very loving, very caring, very patient, is an amazing role model, has a very positive outlook on life, always smiles and her way of teaching makes any child want to learn. My son and daughter received the best education foundation from Mrs. Mitra that has prepared them for their school years to come. Both of my kids started reading when they were 3.5 years old. Every day they learned about different cultures, math, not only addition and subtraction, but they both ended Kindergarten with the basis of multiplication and division.

That is amazing! They learned about history, culture, language, social studies, sensorial life and every day life. Every day they came out so joyful and happy, I just loved seeing their smile when I would pick them up. They always wanted to stay longer and play with their friends. Mrs. Mitra would embrace every culture and she would cook amazing meals for special holidays including the help of the kids in the kitchen. It was so much fun for everyone. Her classroom parties were one of a kind, from the kids birthdays to special holidays, the decorations and preparations that went into them, they were always made with so much love and devotion. She gives every child the same careful attention and love that one could only feel that their child was in good hands. We were living in Encinitas but had to move to Orange County. My husband and I made the decision that we only wanted Mrs. Mitra to teach our kids, that there wasn’t any one we would rather have as our kids teacher and therefore decided that I would make the drive every day, five days a week for my kids to go to Mrs. Mitras Montessori Tutoring School until they graduated Kindergarten. It was a long drive every day, but it was very worth it. When they graduated from Kindergarten and entered into 1st grade, their transition was very easy. They were both well advanced for 1st grade and still are. Their education foundation due to Mrs. Mitra was so strong that up to this day, they are doing fantastic in their school, from being role models to being a team player to being very dedicated in their studies. We are so blessed to have had Mrs. Mitra as our kids teacher and will always be grateful for everything that she has done for our kids.
